[Client name] processed every order through three disconnected systems and a shared spreadsheet. We consolidated the workflow, then stayed on to improve it.
Orders arrived through the storefront, a marketplace and email. Each channel was reconciled by hand against inventory, then re-entered into accounting. The team caught most errors, but only after customers noticed. Peak season made the cost visible: overtime, delayed dispatch, and a refund rate nobody could explain.
The Blueprint mapped every order path and found that four of the eleven manual steps existed only to compensate for a stock figure that was never authoritative. We rebuilt around a single order record, synced inventory one way, and made exceptions visible instead of silent. Identity, admin and audit came from the existing Laravel foundation, which kept the Build inside eleven weeks.
The retainer has funded returns automation, a supplier portal, and the reporting the finance team now closes the month with. Priorities are set together each quarter.
